Moneshia and Johannes zu Eltz

When Moneshia (NY City native of Indian origin) and Johannes (Bavarian born and country loving) met in 1999 it felt like two different worlds were uniting, yet it was only in 2024 that our visions flowed into a single ocean at Casa MoJo. For a quarter century we experienced an international career and family journey that extended from the USA to Paris, Prague, Amsterdam, and Munich. Now in Italy, we are flipping the narrative to consider how our consciousness and knowledge of our inner state can shape the future realities we would like to see in the world. With values rooted in sustainability and “the world as our family”, Casa MoJo has been established a a place to grow community that fosters the “beauty way”, creative endeavors and spiritual growth.

Lucca, and this 1000 year old fortress and former monastery seemed to “call” us to push the boundaries further- to see what emerges when people from all walks of life focus on a better tomorrow. Drawing from our work in management consulting, corporate strategy, tech/healthcare venture investing, business building, social impact, leadership and human development— our Lucca project is a place to better know ourselves, generate insight, set our intentions, and make decisions today that can brighten the future for all humankind.

Here, alongside Johannes, our cat Shadow, and two red hens, friends and well-wishers, we are planting trees that will never be cut for Forest for Future  and host programs and retreats that deepen personal transformation (toAccompany) as we savor all that Tuscany has to offer – a culture of friendship, art, innovation and food made with ingredients straight from nature. We invite you to join us as we come together to find our place and practice the skills that will shape a meaningful, prosperous and peaceful collective future.
